"Tomalistis Falls" Asug Caibiran, Biliran

Since I was a little a boy we used to come in this place especially during "San Juan" the patron saint in our Barangay. So i didn't forget to visit my favorite falls during my vacation last June 2016. This falls was featured in Rated K by Ms Korina Sanchez on this year 2016.

How to reach this place?

From Manila, took the flight going to Tacloban City for i hour and 30 minutes (find promo fare to at any airlines to save your budget) then take a jeep for 10 pesos going to the Central Terminal. look for a UV Express with a signboard Caibiran. From Terminal to Caibiran it would take more than 3 hours for a fare of 150 pesos, and drop at Barangay Salawad, and ask for a habal habal going to Brgy Asug for 15-25 pesos where the Tomalistis Falls located. In Brgy Asug take a motorboat ride for 15-25 pesos going to the Falls. No Entrance, it's free, but don't take too long in swimming until the sunset because you need to go back to Naval, the Capital of Biliran where you can find a hotel to stay for 1 night. You need to catch up the last trip going to Naval for a 60 pesos ride.
